As a rule of thumb: snug, not strained. Hand‑tight plus a quarter turn is usually plenty for small Torx hardware. After cleaning, dry thoroughly and leave parts out for a few minutes before reassembly.

Keep a short checklist: clean → inspect → lubricate lightly → reassemble → function test.

Toolkit

Torx T5–T10 drivers, soft cloth, light oil, small brush, isopropyl wipes.
